Poetry, or in this case painting, is not the fixation of an experience, nor the description of a landscape, not even some emotions, although they are all present. To write poetry or to paint, one has to live to the full and then forget it all. What remains, is what was actually worthwhile. And that is what makes poetry actually be poetry, and painting be painting".
